• 14 years System Safety and Aviation Safety management experience at NASA Armstrong for experimental research projects--DoD autonomous unmanned vehicles to one of a kind high altitude solar – powered aircraft, as well as, routine aircrew and maintenance operations. Leads Center’s aviation safety program—advises Center Director directly. Assesses human factors and organizational culture issues. Led/assisted team and boards of NASA up to Type A mishap/close call investigations. Flies as research pilot in the Beechcraft B-200 King Air and Gulfstream II and III aircraft. Total Flight time over 5000⁺ hours.

• 9 years AF command experience managing technical, programmatic and safety risk of flight test programs involving up to 2000⁺ personnel/$500M resources from flight squadron to the Test Wing level activities. Responsible for executive airlift of senior AF leaders.

• 4 years AF program management/engineering experience responsible for integrating safety and risk management concepts in 2 state-of-the-art technology demonstration programs

• 3 years experience as Commandant directing/leading the USAF Test Pilot School’s 450 hour academic and 100 hour flight curriculum and its 50+ staff members. $20 million annual budget.

• 15 years of test and evaluation experience responsible for technical success, safety, operational risk analysis, aircraft management and test execution of high risk programs.
